Market Samurai
Market Samurai is, in a nutshell, a keyword analysis tool. We all know that that to get quality traffic to our websites and get the results we want our articles and blogs have got to pass the search engine tests. One of the ways in which search engines rank an article is the keywords. And you need to know that you have got the right ones for the right results.
It is quite a simple programme to use and works with any article, blog, newsletter, etc. that you want to check. Basically, it helps you to find the keywords that are right for your site. The way it does this is by extensive internet research and analysis – work that could take you hours, even days can be done in minutes.
So, your article is ready to be published. Unlike an article spinner you don’t give this programme huge chunks of text to analyse. Instead, based on the topic of your article or website, you give it a specific keyword. The programme will then trawl through its database and come up with hundreds of alternatives for you to consider. Each word will be analysed by looking at how often the word is searched for, how often it is used and, maybe more importantly, how many other sites use it.
Based on all this you then pick the words you want to use and ask the programme to analyse a bit deeper. It will look at the top ten sites that use the word or words that you have picked. For newcomers to the programme, and to the world market research, who may not fully understand the jargon that is used, a simple colour coding system is in place. Words highlighted in red denote it as a word that is widely used, amber, not so much and green is for words that are not used too much. This doesn’t mean you should avoid them; in fact it’s the opposite, the more green, the better.
One of the more popular aspects of this programme is the rank tracker. It will track your site rankings within the three major search engines. This means that you can see, at any given time, exactly how your site is performing. You will be able to determine if any changes are needed and make them.
There are other features to the programme as well. It has a facility that allows you to search for the best domain name, based on keywords and topic. And it will also provide you with a certain amount of content for your keyword, making it easier to write your articles.
There is a free trial for Market Samurai – the length of it seems to depend upon when you download it. On average though, it will be around 7 days. At one hundred and forty nine dollars for full access, it is by no means the cheapest. But, unlike some this is a one off payment and it is yours for life. However, they do make it clear that once the final module has been added the price will jump significantly. Most likely this is just a marketing ploy to make you buy it now but it’s probably something you’ll never know.
