Graphics Graphics is another area in the online business that most people have trouble with. Without any knowledge of how to manipulate graphics, it would be difficult to perform any online marketing effectively, if at all. This is particularly so in the digital product world. If you have purchased any digital item online, you would have realised that there is a graphic aspect to almost any item available. Unlike offline selling with a physical product, digital products depend on graphics to give it a three-dimensional appeal. Most successful online marketers use excellent graphics to give their digital product that additional appeal. It is not necessary at all to learn special skills to create great graphics in order to do well in online marketing. But you will need to be able to do simple graphics for your website, salespage, etc or at least be able to manipulate exisiting ones to suit your own website needs. Most graphics online are produced in the .psd format created by Photoshop. This is not always so but knowing how to use Photoshop gives you an added advantage as a webmaster. Photoshop has a steep price attached to it with an even steeper learning curve. Another software that is compatible with Photoshop and FREE is The Gimp.
